T is for thoughtful...

Last weekend, Lillie was unable to spend the weekend with her Dad and family due to the measles. However, she spent the weekend with her Grandparents who live by the seaside. When she returned home Sunday, I tried my best to explain the measles to Lillie and how it can make a person feel, especially a young person. I've personally never had it, but have seen both my sisters experince it during their childhood. Not pleasant at all. After telling Lillie what I could remember, she felt sad for her soon to be step-brother, Mitchell.

So, Monday afternoon, Lillie produced a get well card for Mitchell, in the hope it would cheer him up. With her not seeing him for another week, she decided that posting it would be a good idea. So, she did yesterday morning, enclosing some sweets for him too. Mitchell received his get well wish from Lillie today. He sent on his thanks to her, which made her smile knowing he had got his goodies.
