On Saturday 2nd August 2008, it will be our first HEdding anniversary! The year has past so quickly with many ups/downs, tears/laughter, achievements/setbacks & the continuous drive to carry on! This is 'our life' & its been a wonderful experience!
I am so proud of Lillie with all that she has learnt, created, questioned & answered. She is more sociable than she was this time last year. Her confidence continues to grow and she has a very cheeky & humourous side to her nature. Lillie is also bold & will challenge what she does not think is fair!
There is one area that we are working on quite alot at the moment - 'listening!'!! Lillie listens very well when we are working together on an informal/formal activity. However, Lillie is fearless & seems to want complete independence! She also has no sense of time & is at the stage where she will compete to get the last word/action in! (Im sensing an adrenalin junkie in the making? - The female version of Jack Osbourne?!) So reasoning/explaining things with her can be quite difficult & stressful with worrying about her potentially having an accident, or her knowing when she needs to hurry/take her time, and her being too competitive! However, I am confident that Lillie's listening skills will improve with time & then her poor Mummy can relax a little!
