We had a Remembrance Sunday parade through the centre of our local highstreet today. Lillie & her Daddy got to see it. Lillie enjoyed watching the servicemen marching & the bagpipes playing. She isnt at the stage yet to understand why we remember, but in time she will I hope. I used to believe as a teenager that wearing a White Poppy to symbolise peace was best, but now Ive come to understand that to have peace, war will occur first. So, I wear a Red Poppy to show that I do remember the many thousands of lives lost & will never forget the courage of every serviceman who puts their life on the line everyday in order to restore peace all over the world. God Bless them all...
