On Sunday evening Lillie was watching 'Big Cook, Little Cook' on Cbeebies TV http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/bigcooklittlecook/ and saw a lovely little recipe she would like us to attempt. Well on Monday we did just that. Ingredients we used for this little treat, (can be adapted to suit individual preference): sliced wholemeal bread, butter, yeast extract, grated cheese, crushed ready salted crisps. And various pastry cutters were needed. 1) Toast both sides of the sliced bread. 2) Create 2 of each shapes using the pastry cutters. 3) Spread on thinly the butter & yeast extract on one side of each cut out. 4) Mix some grated cheese together with some crushed crisps and place a serving on just one of the various cut outs. 5) Use the cheese/crisp free cut outs to place on top of its match to form a toasted sandwich. 6) Place another serving of the grated cheese/crushed crisps on top of each toasted sandwich, grill or bake until the cheese has melted.
Ooops! Hope I dont get sued for advertising a well known brand of yeast extract!!

Sunshine, smiles, tattoos and a tasty treat... With or without salad!
Last Saturday was a lovely sunny day as well as Lillie & I having our friends over for the afternoon. The girls all get on great together, so plenty of smiling goes on. Plus us two Mums have the freedom to chat away!! Alisha seems to love our cat Rocco and he loved the attention he was getting as you can see from the pic below.
I shall be framing a copy of this pic for Alisha as she wanted to take Rocco home. In fact she really wanted Rocco to follow her home...
Gemma & Lillie getting to grips with redesigning the patio in chalks! Later that afternoon the girls got busy with sticking transfer tattoos onto Lillie's inner left arm. Unfortunately I didnt get to take a pic straight away and when I did think of it later on Lillie had not long been out of the bath so the 'tatt's' had faded around the edges a little... Lillie does love tattoos of all types, so I do not doubt that when she grows up she will have the real thing done at least once. I wont discourage her thats for sure as Im planning on getting my next two done very soon :0) And then there is Louis, who is planning on getting his first one done now he is legal...
