A cave, a book. What more could two girls want?
Early this afternoon Lillie got busy with creating a cave in the front room. Though had an obstacle to overcome - one corner of a blanket would not stay put! Answer - a bulldog clip. One happy girl! Then she moved on to watching the England v Egypt game that was on last night. Seeing as I had already watched some of the match and knew the outcome, it felt quite strange my hearing her shout, "go on England!", "good kick!", "ooh I bet that hurt!" coming from one of the terraces, A.K.A our sofa! I did ask her whether she wanted to know the result and she was very tempted. However, this piece of info was not disclosed until some time later. Again, one happy girl! It wasnt long before she returned to the cosiness of her cave. I asked if I could join her. Yes, she answered excitedly. I offered to read some more of The Enchanted Castle, which she accepted before taking a place beside her. Each supplied with a drink and some organic chocolate, I continued on reading from where we left off yesterday... "It is a cave," said Kathleen. "The young explorers," explained Gerald, blocking up the hole of entrance with his shoulders, "dazzled at first by the darkness of the cave, could see nothing." "Darkness doesn't dazzle," said Jimmy...... Yet again, one happy girl!
