Lillie spends most weekends at her Dads. However, the 3 of us will often spend a Saturday or Sunday together. Yesterday was a day we did just this, as the last time had been New Year's Day. I suggested we check out a new 'Toys R Us' store in Tunbridge Wells, seeing as Lillie has developed a love for railway, especially where Thomas & his Friends are concerned! Lillie was certainly in agreement to this suggestion! So we ended up making a day of it with also going for a lovely meal & visiting family to meet the latest member - Darrell Joseph, the gorgeous boy above - Joseph is a very popular name on both sides of Lillie's family!
Back to the toy store, Lillie chose another mechanical train to go with her growing set & then we continued with looking around to see if anything else caught her imagination. Nothing! Then on the way to the checkout Lillie spotted a globe! A 'Barbie' rotating globe! With animation & a voice thats 'meant' to be 'Barbie'! Both features providing facts, questions & answers about customs, traditions, language, food, native animals, famous landmarks & of course the geography side to it! The globe is also touch activated to encourage exploration & buttons to activate each topic.
One came home with us! A big thumbs up from Lillie! And lots of cotton wool for me - though there is a volume control for when its 7am!
