Happy New Year!

Well 2010 has arrived & its been a great start to the year! Lillie has been absorbed in some of the new things she received at Christmas, her Nintendo DS being one of those things. The two games she has ('Yoshi Touch & Go' and 'Big Brain Academy') are fun as well as educational. So, Im allowing her to play on it 'as & when' she pleases during the day for now. However, she is being very responsible with taking regular little breaks from the screen. This is good for me too; Im beginning to get quite jumpy with hearing frequent 'yeses' when she has achieved the next level! Despite the novelty of her owning a hand held consol, old past time activities are still top of her list as you can see from the below pic that I have just taken this morning! Setting herself up for something arty while watching BBCi Player...
The snow we had leading up to Christmas Day was great fun & a real delightful treat with us both being in the festive spirit. So, we made a lovely little Christmas snowgirl!
Gorgeous! Before we knew it, it was Christmas morning...
Lillie's cuddle companion Willa wearing her little scarf Lillie helped knit during December, before wrapping up & placing under the tree! So sweet...
Lillie is a huge HSM fan! We spent one day over Christmas with our goodies to eat while watching the first movie followed by the next two that she received from Santa...
Pretty in pink!
Lils totally pleased about getting her garage. The great thing about this one is that it collapses down into a wheel when she needs the space for something else.
Merry Christmas! I cant believe how grown up my little angel looks at times. The rest of the holiday was spent nursing colds, coughs & my throat infection, which saw me having to write things down for Lillie due to my inability to talk. Lillie found this very amusing, yet did a great job at helping me communicate at the local shop! Despite all this, weve had so much fun & shared numerous moments giggling away. Lillie also saw her Daddy & Grandparents & came home with half of Santas workshop! I completed my TMA & sent it off before New Year's Eve though the cut off date was 4th January! Plus I have finally worked out how to send my TMAs via the electronic system! I feel quite clever about that now lol... Since then we have continued chillaxing in the warm, watched plenty more snow fall, played games, read, had discussions, repeatedly dared each other to touch a sticky plastinated human heart & finally at the end of our day snuggle up to watch tv/films. Oh & of course the odd piece of formal work thrown in to the mix! So, like I said at the beginning of this post, 2010 has arrived & its been a great start to the year!
Happy New Year to one & all....
