Roll on tomorrow!

What a week! Monday started the week off relatively well... Tuesday afternoon's plans were to get the food shopping done asap then home to watch the new pilot episode of 'Knight Rider'. Once settled, we soon discovered the disc was not compatible with our DVD player :O( Instead decided on Shrek (again, lol!) Shortly into the movie, our mini movie feast was ready to eat. Lillie took one bite & then in dramatic fashion emptied her entire stomach contents all over her plate! (I hope no one is eating whilst reading this! Apologies if so...)

I had suspected she was coming down with 'something' while out shopping, but nothing had prepared me for that, lol... Kids are just such lovely little beings arent they? Always full of suprises!! The fever soon kicked in as did the yukky stomach bug. Alongside her feeling very sleepy, my little Bambino also experienced hallucinations. Yes, I do behave like a monster of a Mum at times, but Lillie actually saw me looking like one! It would be accurate to say I was totally upset knowing that she felt frightened. I reassured her the best I could that I was indeed her Mummy! Anyway, the last of the bugs seemed to have left the building this morning, well fingers X'd they have!

I still managed to get some basic chores done during my 'nursing' role! The outdoor tomato plants were starting to look worse for wear when I last looked on Wednesday - I put them in a less exposed part of the garden due to the stormy weather of late! I shall take a closer look at them tomorrow, though Im doubtful they will not be looking their best. Then again, Im not looking very alive myself either!! I have also managed some studying - my final K260 TMA is due soon. I will have to crack on with it over the weekend, as I shall have the house to myself. However, Im tired, stressed, feeling rather impatient now, in need of my own space & possibly slightly hormonal!

To make things worse I have spent most of today with being on this computer! Catching up on emails, researching, adding & removing items, checking security and so on! Lillie has just not wanted to let me get on with it, even with me trying to include her. GGGRRRrrr! - She is perhaps making up for the few days where she has been rooted to the sofa, bucket & toilet! Though I have told her at least three times today that she is being quite selfish!

Anyway tomorrow is Saturday, my house will be child free from 11am right through to Sunday 5pm. Hopefully this old 'Moaning Minnie' thats stares back at me in the mirror will be back on top form by then! We can only hope, lol....

Oh, I was very pleased that Chelsea are through to the Champion's League Final - will leave it at that though out of respect to Frank Lampard & his family...
