A lovely start to the week!

This morning I was woken up by a very excited Lillie! "Come on Mummy, get up & take a look at what Ive made!" By the time I had climbed out of bed to see what she was on about, the house was very quiet. Where had Lillie got to? Still sleepy eyed I headed for her bedroom to find this! I could hear Lillie's giggles from inside so played the game! "Where are you hiding Lilsie?" ... "In here Mummy!" Of course I had to grab the camera...
Lillie inside her tent!
After about 10 mins she appeared! Then I remembered that the clothes horse Lillie had used had clothes airing on it last night! "So what have you done with the laundry Lillie?" ... "Its ok Mummy I folded it all up & its on the kitchen table!"
What a little gem she is... When we popped to the shops soon after, Lillie took great delight in telling Rachana what she had been upto this morning! Lillie is now back in her tent which she has now named 'The Cave'. She has informed me that she will be spending the day in there & is surrounded with all the things she needs - paper, pencil case, lighting, cushions & of course 'Willa the II' (cuddle companion) & that she shall be watching Cbeebies, which I have set up for her. She has requested that I 'visit' her during the day & not to forget to bring her lunch on one of my visits, lol... She has asked whether its ok for her to sleep in there tonight, but that hasnt been decided just yet!
Ive also uploaded two pics from last week when the snow had begun to melt. I do confess that I was on the floor laughing after taking the second one. See if you can spot the difference?
There one minute!

Gone the next! What a little joker Lillie is! Excuse the shabby fencing - its not mine!!

  1. That's so very lovely she folded up all the clothes first!
Is this domestic servitude, as you have pointed out in another post? I think not! Not that I want to belittle the idea that any such thing is good (though I must admit I do sometimes feel overly bound to the old housework myself...).

  2. Indeed it was lovely Lillie folded up the clothes first. She has obviously been observing well! I wouldnt class it as domestic servitude either. She is welcome to help out anytime ;o)
