Lillie has also been getting creative with some coloured paper prior to spending last weekend with her Daddy. Ive mentioned several times Lillie has a cuddle companion named Willa II. They are completely inseparable. Lillie knows I do not have a cuddle companion of my own so thought I would like to have a coloured paper version of Willa II...
Monday was an eventful day. Lillie wanted to go camping! So we did! We travelled all the way to our frontroom! Firstly we made some scenery of the type of place Lillie wanted to go to. So a woodland area it was...
We even included a campfire & referred to the kitchen & bathroom as the 'campsite kitchen' & 'campsite toilet & shower room'. This picture changed from what you can see above to....
... this. Though the reflection of the flash looks like we are in some strange world where we have two moons at night! For dinner we ate Chicken Balti at Lillie's request & which she helped to prepare in the 'campsite kitchen' followed by hot buttery toast later on in the evening while telling ghost stories!
We even used our sleeping bags! Lillie had so much fun so we stayed within our camp right through to Tuesday morning!

Tuesday morning brought us back to reality with having to go shopping. However, that trip turned out an eventful one. I bumped into a lady who used to babysit for my mum. This lady had looked after my sister & I over 25 years ago! It was good to see her & I bet I made her feel really old lol.... Lillie & I also saw Louis briefly while he was working. OMG I cannot believe Ive not mentioned Louis getting a job already! Well he is working part time in Sainsbury's & has been for a few months now. He's enjoying it so far & the money too, especially when he works overtime! Though I do think his hours have increased now seeing as his trial is over with. He has mentioned the possibility of starting an apprenticeship, training as a Baker. Or there is the opportunity for some other on the job training, working towards a qualification, but right now I cant remember exactly what it is. Anyhow the important thing is that he is happy & is also considering getting his own flat. So this week Ive started buying some household bits & pieces for him that I can store away until the time comes when he has his own little bachelor's pad! I cant believe how the time has flown with him. It doesnt feel like almost 19 years ago since he was born. Im very proud of Louis, with all the challenges & obstacles he has faced, he has certainly turned out to be a great young man.
Going back to my second born, well what a wonderful daughter she is. Before going to bed last night, she informed me that she would have a surprise in the morning! I wasnt allowed to question her so had to wait for this morning to find out. Well what a surprise it was. I was presented with breakfast in bed. A huge bowl of Cheerios, a banana & a yoghurt! I was overjoyed as you can imagine. Unfortunately I couldnt manage the fruit & yoghurt. Thankfully Lillie didnt take offence to my not eating the lot! It really was a lovely way to start the day. Since then we have travelled out of town to deliver our custom made surgical gowns to PC World, came home for a rest before moving on with this afternoon's activities which Im not sure yet what they will be but Lillie is enjoying watching High School Musical II right now. So I shall leave her to finish that first. As for me Im off to briefly pop back onto Facebook to see what's occurring before logging off.
Fantastic camp site! Thats my kind of camping - no rain leaking through/creepy crawlies/having to go out in the cold and dark for the loo!! X
