I need a distraction!

After waking from a dream that I am having great difficulty separating myself from, I thought I would listen to & sing along with Florence & the Machine's album 'Lungs' while sitting here doing this posting! Lillie's in/out joining in & busting some moves too!! I did intend to upload more pics yesterday, but found myself being a temporary slave to time so had to abandon that until now!
Well moving on with that then... There has been a revival in our house this week as well as starting on something new. Lillie has been busy creating with her train set after months of it being tucked away under her bed. Though this time round there has been the addition of her garage & lego houses.

Then there have been the Nintendo DS moments! And up & down the hallway on her scooter, with lights flashing!

Plenty of writing also - her Lapbook alongside her nightly diary writing. Talking of diaries, I have been watching the tv programme 'Dear Diary' on BBC4 for past three weeks. Its been insightful, fascinating & somewhat emotional in parts. Watching made me feel really sad with destroying my own diaries that I had kept as a teenager. The reason behind this distructive act is mostly unknown to me. At the time, while in my mid 20s, I was experiencing my first severe depressive episode. Thankfully all those happy, angsty teenage memories I apparently tried to rid myself of then are permanently installed in my brain, and my mother's! So thats two fingers up to depression!

The rest of this week will continue to be busy for Lillie - Girls' Brigade this evening & then Saturday she is off to her Daddy's for the weekend.
