Our local inner city farm

It's been lovely shedding the winter wear and getting into the spirit of spring time. With lots of seasonal changes and welcoming it with open arms, Lillie and I have been enjoying some days out in the neighbourhood. A trip to our local farm was delightful as well as educational. Lillie not only saw new life on the farm and some old friends, like Bob the shetland pony, but she also learnt about how to avoid infections such as E. coli 0157. Since our visit, we have decided to apply for some volunteering one morning a week at the farm. So, our application forms have been completed and shall be hand delivered at some point next week.

Bertie, Lillie and Gertie!

Two newly born lambs snuggled up in the trough!
Lillie and I wanted to take this little one home - I guess the number had something to do with that!
