I would like to end this post on some good news regarding the application for Lillie to start an IT course with http://www.oxfordhomeschooling.co.uk/ As mentioned in a previous post - I had a phone call from this particular correspondence course website. Due to work commitments, the call was arranged for today. Anyway the call came just after 3pm. Valerie (admissions) stated that the courses start at Key Stage 3 and are aimed/designed at/for 11 year olds (Year 7). However, after Valerie spoke with her Admissions Manager, it was agreed that Lillie can start a year earlier! The month she turns 10 (August). This is when the course materials will be dispatched and Lillie will be assigned to a course tutor, yet I will be her Mentor in regards to the http://www.oxfordhomeschooling.co.uk/ ethos - Happy Days!!

I would have really pushed for it if the answer was the opposite - Lillie has plenty of IT skills and this course will also introduce her to new things, as well as prepare her for future studies needing a level of formal structure. We will need to organise a few things in preparation, as that's where success roots from (preparation). Watch this space and well done Lillie for embarking on a new journey that I know you will enjoy and love. You will have a study buddy to in Mummy who will also be starting her Health and Social Care Diploma :o)

Now for the weekend to continue...
