Girls' Brigade was as enjoyable as ever for Lillie last Thursday - upon arrival the Captain greeted Lillie and informed her that she was missed last week due to our holiday. It felt so good to hear this and I know it made Lillie feel valued. And that's how it should be too, me thinks. GB is a group activity club that Lillie has thrived at, since starting way back in November 2009. And I enjoy some chit chat with leaders, parents and some of the girls too.

Friday afternoon and evening, Lillie and I just chilled. Mostly apart too! Lillie spent most of the late afternoon and evening up in her room, listening to music, watching a movie and writing. She only came down for dinner! Oh, and a hug every so often. Yesterday started early! We spent a good few hours up the Lottie, preparing it for the winter months and also thinking ahead to next spring. We are so excited about next year's harvest, as we will have the same head start as other established plot holders. With being able to start the sowing at the start of spring 2014 rather than half way through like this year, will be fantastic and crops will be plentiful!! After Lottie came the food shop before heading home for a good and well earned rest!!
Look at all that lovely mud on the bottom of your willies, Lilsie!!
Jobs done and time to go...
... good job we left when we did judging by this dark cloud! But, no heavy rainfall came in the end!!
This morning we had a little lay in, but by 09:30 the ironing, washing of laundry and the preparation for a lamb roast was all done. We were sat, feet up, watching the movie stated above. So, we shall start as we mean to go on... a chilled, relaxed Sunday... Heaven!!
