Fun and festive times with some germs and tiredness thrown into the mix!

It's been all go here! The trees and decorations are up, some gifts wrapped and cards nearly all written. Lillie has visited a local residential home with her Girls' Brigade Company to sing Christmas Carols, made festive biscuits, been ice-skating, nearly finished her current Harry Potter book, visited a garden centre, studied, has a cough and cold, rested, arranged a personalised Christmas card from http://www.moonpig.com/uk/ for her Child minder's little girl (will be delivered on Monday) and has taken a tumble! So, has experienced some aches and pains, but is okay.

I've been busy with work, been gift buying, extended the gift list, ignored the writing out of cards but have managed to get most of them written and some sent off to various parts of the world on time, have had some sleepless nights with nightmares, had two colds and now a cough, rested, been planning ahead, had an evening of humour with my sister, visited a garden centre, found time to relax with my current novel and all the other activities such as household chores, cooking, shopping and forgetting the tinned tomatoes on every shopping trip!

Two Vodka cocktails - vodka, cranberry juice, lemonade, glacier cherries, fresh lemons and limes and ice with sugar trim around top of the glass - forgot to add the cinnamon sticks but my sister and I still enjoyed a few of these!!

We are meant to be attending a Christmas Carol Service tomorrow morning, but it's now become a case of 'let's see how we feel in the morning' plan!! We are both quite tired and are both hosting the uninvited germ guests, plus Lillie would like to get creative with her course poster that has been arranged to be sent off to her tutor by Christmas. We also have gifts to wrap amongst the ironing needing to be done and a yummy roast dinner to cook. And of course winding down the weekend with preparing for the week ahead. Oh well, we shall see when the morning arrives...
