A lovely week

It's been another fairly busy one here this week. It started with our Monday morning grocery shop, which saw us travel a little out of our way. The change of scene was nice though, the weather beautiful. So two happy faces amongst the crowd. On arrival back home and shopping unpacked, Lillie and I ventured out into our garden to collect some of our home grown salad to go with lunch. Home grown and very very tasty...

Then we made a lovely upsidedown pineapple cake for after dinner'r desert. Went yummy with lashings of custard...

Tuesday we went shopping again, to our usual haunt. I found a lovely pair of shades in our local community gardens en route to the shops. So, pleased with my find. Also popped into the library. I think we pottered about and chillaxed for the rest of the day when we got home.

Wednesday started off busy with writing up our annual home ed report, I applied for a job, Lillie played on her Wii and Louis popped down on his new moped. It's very stylish and Louis is very happy with his new toy. Lillie wants one now!

My grown up son, Louis...

Lillie had to jump on too...

Before we knew it, time had flown and I had to get Lillie to her dance class. Next week will be the last class of the summer term. However, it will be party time! We will have to spend this weekend putting together a fancy dress outfit for her. She may turn up as a pirate or a fairy. Quite a contrast between the two. I hope she can decide by tomorrow when I will assist her with sorting through what to wear... While at dance class, the group worked on a street dance routine from last week and also started another one, plus a little of the Cha-cha.

Yesteday was a glorious day again, so before arriving at Girls' Brigade, we popped to the park.

I was on this with Lillie not long before taking this pic. I know, a big kid I am!

Then presentation time started at 7pm. Proud parents watching on all smiles and applause for the girls achievements from the past year.

Lillie recieving her envelope of new badges and certificates - she gained a 2 year attendance award, a completed Bronze Explorer Star and certificates in Service, Physical, Educational and Spiritual cateogories. Well done, my little Explorer. Won't be able to say that come September, as Lillie will be moving up to Juniors for the next few years.

Feeling proud of her achievements.

Next week is the last meet too - another party to attend.

I've also made enquiries for Lillie to start Judo. I've spoke to the instructor and Lillie has met him too. So, Lillie's first Judo class begins on Monday.

Today also began busy, with some gardening. though Lillie mostly played on her Wii and DS, but did join me in the back garden until it was finished. We made dinner together and have since been chilling with content tummies.

I am looking forward to bedtime and somewhat envious that Lillie has already gone off to bed to watch a DVD. I, on the other hand have a couple of jobs to do before I regain my position back on the sofa to watch whatever there is on tv and will look forward to a lay in tomorrow. I hope....
