Today I found the time to give my response to the consultation form, which did take some time to complete. However, it was worth it as Home Educating parents do have a voice & we should be heard like any other group that is being stigmatised. I also signed the online petition against the review.
Home Education - Your Views
The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families has commissioned an independent review to assess whether current systems that support and monitor home education are the right ones. We would welcome your views.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to to remind his government that parents must remain responsible in law for ensuring the welfare and education of their children and that the state should not seek to appropriate these responsibilities.
