Lillie has been enjoying working on two activites downloaded from the Nature Detectives website - a Wordsearch and a Flutterby mobile...
First, Lillie read out the 8 words before locating them on the grid.
All done! Lillie would like to do the next two - one with 12 words, the other with 25.
A butterfly template - Lillie cut out most of the 8 various templates, before I drew around them on to coloured card for her to cut out.
The part Lillie enjoyed most - she decorated both sides of every butterfly, using either paints, coloured pencils, glitter and sequins.
The larger butterflies are for Lillie's mobile and the smaller ones will become a mobile for Lillie's little friend, Eliz.
Lillie's finished mobile - she used two twigs for the crossbar.
Looking very pleased with her work - a job well done, me thinks :o)
