Good Friday

Today has been a busy one! Popped to shops early this morning, as the day had been quite planned in getting certain things done with it being Easter weekend. Once settled back home the day's activities included making a card for Lillie's Grandparents, painting & decorating hard boiled eggs & updating Lillie's Springtime Scrapbook with Easter pictures! With some hot cross buns being eaten in between! Yum yum...

Lillie started her spring weather chart today - though she did prefer a quick go on her trampoline, while I worked out the direction the wind was coming from! I think I got there in the end by using the sun rises in the East & sets in the West approach! Or is it the other way around!!? Oh well, I think the wind was blowing from the North! If not it was from the South!!!

Lillie also done a beautiful piece of writing about our tomato plants, aswell as starting a growth & observation chart on their development. (That organic compost does exactly what it says on the bag, lol...) I am so pleased that 2 leafed shoots have come through & I already have two orders for family members, who shall have a tommy plant once they have established :O)

Mid afternoon was spent playing Bingo & flashcard snap! Lillie is now trying to cheat at flashcard snap by looking for certain words the cheeky little devilette that she is - However, it does show that she is doing 'A ok' with reading those flash cards. Its been quite an eventful day so far & isnt over yet, so think I may sleep like a log tonight. I could do with a good night's sleep too, as Ive been quite the insomniac this week - I hate not getting any DECENT SLEEP!!!

Anyway, for me, some of the Easter weekend will be spent doing yet another TMA, while Lillie spends her usual weekends at her Daddy's home. Though Easter Sunday will be a family day with Lillie's Daddy cooking up a feast, which I will gladly not be helping with! My participation will be in the eating & in the drinking of a nice bottle (or 2) of Chardonnay & perhaps helping out with the washing up!
