Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1756-1791 Born in Salzburg, Austria. A child prodigy, composed many pieces in his short life, and yet died penniless. Mozart was 'Home Educated' by his father Leopald & was ahead in his education compared to other boys his age.
By the age of 3 - played harpsichord
By the age of 4 - played violin
At the age of 5 - was composing his own pieces. His first piece being, Minuet and Trio
At the age of 6 - went on tour with his family
From comic operas, splendid concertos or light, uplifting & dreamy night music to his 'tragic' symphony - Symphony No. 40 which was composed after the loss of his baby daughter.
Lillie & I enjoy listening to this musical genius - its the first piece of classical music Ive introduced Lillie to. She says it makes her feel happy. You will hear her humming along to some parts, especially the violin.....
