.... means its officially British Summertime! It will be lovely to get out 'n' about more with the warmer & longer days ahead. In the meantime there are still things that can be done. The tomato plants are growing well and it wont be long before they will need planting out. We shall be extremely careful when doing this aswell as take our time. We dont want any casualties amongst our first attempt of growing one of Lillie's fav' foods. Lillie has had fun watching our plants develop and has been keeping a personal record of their changes in her 'Springtime Scrapbook'.
Talking of the scrapbook, that too is coming along nicely. Today Lillie learnt about tadpoles and how they transform into frogs. We do not have a pond in our garden, so she hasnt actually seen the real thing. Hopefully, next year I can organise something for her. It is great fun actually seeing the transformation - when I was in infant school, I had the pleasure of witnessing their development in a tank. However, its not how I would like Lillie to view them. I believe in keeping things in their natural habitat and let mother nature do her job...
Lillie's 'circle of a frog's life'...
Oh, found out today that Lillie & I are now in the EO's Contact List Book.
Hello. I was 'blog hopping' and found yours, via similar interests. Your 'school' looks great. enjoy. I'd love to observe tadpoles, also. You're daughter is a dear!
