It's Thursday!

Lillie and I like Thursdays. It means just one more alarm call for the week! And somehow we tend to be up a little earlier than the alarm call on Thursdays. I don't know why and we don't mind either. Thursdays means Girls' Brigade for Lillie and this week she is looking forward to it even more. Tonight her name will be ticked off the list to confirm she is attending the surprise Pantomime at The Bob Hope Theatre this coming Saturday. The girls still are not aware which panto it is and I've tried my best to stay off the theatre's website to see which one it is. I've done well not to so far!! Now I'm thinking shall I go look - but no I shall resist because I want to hear all about it on Sunday when she returns from her Dad's. Though, I'm sure she will say which one when I call her Sunday morning.

Thursday's also mean some studying for me - I do like going to the library for this, each week. They've added another section for us 'swatters' which is good. I love being amongst the books rather than sitting upstairs in a room that is not filled with that library feeling!

So far already this morning, Lillie and I have discussed 'smiling'. This has led to a discussion on poetry. Lillie knows William Shakespeare is famous for his poetry - sonnets to be accurate. To cut the conversation down a little the suggestion for writing a poem about 'smiling' arose. So, before we head off for GB this evening we are going to each put a poem together. Or the start of one. Perhaps take a look at various forms of poetry. Although, Lillie knows sonnets are more to do with following particular 'rules' so to speak.

Well, it's time to get moving and head off to the bus stop, we don't want to be late. First, some pics to end this post...

First pic - how cool are these? Lillie made them with her Childminder and they are perfect for putting on the Christmas tree, which we will make more of this coming festive season!!

Second pic - I was presented with this when I returned home from my hospital appointment last Monday. Lillie made a point of telling me she filled the whole page! Not sure where she got that idea from. Not filling the whole page is something that does not matter to me. It's the composition that does - art is art afterall, in all it's forms.

Third pic - all that's left of Lillie's Christmas sweets and chocs. I don't think she is that interested in these. Aren't we all like that with yummy chocs and sweets? Leave the ones we like the least to last!!! And last and last....!!
